Daybreak in Bodega Bay

Bodega Bay is one of our favorite places to stay.  This year we celebrated my birthday there and the next morning at dawn I was greeted with this dramatic scene.  The filagree sky I had to commit to memory as the camera coulc not capture its delicate coloring.  I've painted this scene several times and it is always a joy - I can almost hear the waves and the call of the gulls.
